Sir John de Hesketh, knight, was the son and became heir of Thomas Hesketh and Alice Bispan after the death of his brother Robert. Sir John became Lord of Rufford Hesketh and etc. He married Alice, sole daughter and heir to Edmund Fitton, honor of half the lordship of Rufford and had issue, Sir William de Hesketh.
