Marie Mary Marvin
Mary Marvin was born circa 1628 in Great Bentley, Essex, England. She was baptized on 16 December 1628 in Great Bentley, Essex, England. She immigrated with Matthew Marvin and Elizabeth Marvin in 1635 to Hartford, Connecticut. She married Richard Bushnell, son of Francis Bushnell and Ferris Quenell, on 11 October 1648 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. She married Deacon Thomas Adgate. Her husband, Deacon Thomas Adgate, died at age 87 years on 21 July 1707 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut. She died on 29 May 1713 in Norwalk, New London County, Connecticut. She was buried in the Old Burying Ground in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut.

Mary Marvin was the daughter of Matthew Marvin, one of the first settlers of Hartford, Connecticut. He came there from England in 1635, and afterwards settled and died in Norwalk, Connecticut. After her husband's (Richard Bushnell) death, she married Deacon Thomas Adgate in 1659, a widower with two daughters. (One of her children by this marriage, Rebecca, married Joseph Huntington, and was ancestress of Gov. Samuel Huntington, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence).

She immigrated on April 18, 1635 on the ship "INCREASE." 18 April 1635, Passengers embarked in the Increase of London, Mr. Robert Lea, bound [from London] for New England : Marthaw Marvyn, husbandman 35, his wife Elizabeth 31, Elizabeth Marvinn 31 [sic], Mathew Marvynn 8, Marie Marvynn 6, Sara Marvynn 3, Hanna Marvynn 6 months.She married Richard Bushnell, son of Francis Bushnell and Ferris Quenell, on October 11, 1648 at Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. They had at least 3 children: Joseph Bushnell, Richard Bushnell, and Mary Bushnell.
Mary Marvin married Deacon Thomas Adgate in 1660 at Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. Mary Marvin died on March 29, 1714 at Norwich, New London County, Connecticut, at age 85. She was buried after March 26, 1714 at Old burying ground, Norwich, New London County, Connecticut.
