Thomas BRIGHAM was born in 1549 in Holme-on-Spalding-Moor, Yorkshire, England.THOMAS4 BRIGHAM (Thomas2, Thomas2, Thomasl), born about 1549, is mentioned in the will of his father dated 25 October, 1558, previously given; also was given a bequest in the will of his cousin Peter Tomlinson alias Millington, dated 21 December 1584, as mentioned above. (P. and E. York Wills, vol. 15, part 3, fol. 347, and vol. 22, fol. 677.) He was a cloth-worker as in his burial record of 8 Nov., 1586, he is called a "webster." On 3 May, 1587, administration on his estate was given to his widow Gillan. (Adm. Act Books, P. and E. Court of York, Harthill Deanery.) Parents: Thomas BRIGHAM and Jennet MILLINGTON.
Spouse: Gillian. Thomas BRIGHAM and Gillian were married in 1571. Children were: Elizabeth BRIGHAM, John BRIGHAM, Thomas BRIGHAM, William BRIGHAM, Richard BRIGHAM, Robert BRIGHAM.

Notes
This Thomas Brigham (whom we shall call the "Fourth") was a cloth worker and in his burial record he is called a "webster". Holme on Spalding Moor is situated about half way between Hull and York, about 25 miles from the North Sea and 10 miles from the River Homben.
